I'm Ali, the proud owner and founder of Wagtails Grooming Salon. 

I have always had a love of dogs and decided to turn my passion into a career in 2000, when I trained at the highly regarded Groomers Training Centre in Market Drayton, Shropshire. Awarded a commendation for my skills in the grooming of all breeds, I then went on to run a successful salon, based in Riccall, York. After taking a career break when I had my children, I decided to return to the industry I love and Wagtails was born.

My purpose-built salon is located just outside Osgodby, Selby at the Apollo Business Centre and provides me with the opportunity to offer a professional yet relaxed, calm environment to my four-legged friends. With the added convenience of ample parking right outside the door, owners can be assured that their dog will be treated with patience, love and kindness, always on a one-to-one basis.

As a lifelong dog owner, I appreciate the joy that they bring and their importance within the family. Therefore, I strive to offer them the very best care and attention, to help them feel safe and comfortable in their surroundings.
